Modern/Improvisational Movement
Modern dance captures the heart, feelings, and lyrical sence of the individual. The torso is set free in the class, allowing a great sense of self-expression. In addition to stretching and strengthening exercises, the warm-up will include breathing exercises and a series of contractions. Contemporary walks, runs, and leaps across the floor will precede a contemporary dance during the second half of the one hour class.
